Spectrum @ Island School

Hello!
Spectrum was formed in 2009 to educate and raise awareness regarding sexual orientation, gender identity, and surrounding issues.  We also aim to support students of all sexual orientations, especially those who are questioning their identities.

We hold weekly discussions that are mainly attended by a core group of Sixth Form students that organizes talks and events during the school year.  For example, dozens of students participated in a Day of Silence in May to raise awareness of homophobia and the experiences of those affected by it.

Please click on the ‘News’ link on the sidebar for more details of these events, and comment on this page if you have any questions or suggestions!
